We’re Hiring! PR Assistant (Entry–Junior)

Godfrey Social PR is a boutique, full-service communications agency based in Newport Beach. We specialize in PR, influencer marketing, and brand strategy for some of the most coveted brands across parenting, wellness, lifestyle, beauty, and food & beverage.

We’re looking for a PR Assistant to join our fast-paced, highly collaborative team. This is an entry to junior-level role for someone who’s detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about media, influencers, and storytelling. If you thrive in a boutique agency setting where you’ll wear many hats and grow quickly, this could be the perfect fit.

 What You’ll Do

• Support media + influencer outreach, research, and list-building

• Coordinate sample send-outs, product mailers, and influencer gifting

• Draft pitches, gifting notes, and short-form content for social + press

• Help track coverage and maintain organized client reports

• Assist with brainstorming, editorial calendar planning, and awards tracking

• Provide admin support to keep campaigns moving and clients happy

 What We’re Looking For

• 1+ year of PR agency experience (internships count if substantive!)

• Bachelor’s degree in PR, Communications, Marketing, or related field

• Strong writing, organizational, and multitasking skills

• Comfortable using Google Workspace; familiarity with Muck Rack, Canva, and CoverageBook is a plus

• Hybrid role — 2–3 days a week in our Newport Beach office
